![]() Vindicating a golem early means early 200g for free. ![]() Being able to kill them off early means you can easily wipe out the weaker enemies while starting the wave with extra gold. Origins has some very annoying enemies that will soak up most of your tower's damage and prevent many of the grunts from dying. Also has second highest HP pool in the whole game. Put him at a choke point and he will NEVER DIE. Remember I complained about the lack of regeneration. Second, he ABSORBS 30% of ALL THE ENEMIES THAT DIED AROUND HIM. This coupled with his skill that adds 70 damage with a chance of istant kill for 5 seconds just turns him to a killing machine. All his attacks are true damage, meaning that there he recieves no damage reduction at all. First, he has insane damage and mobility. However, Reg'son reamains powerful because of 3 reasons. As I've written above, melee heroes generally melt easily in the game. Reg'son: Personally, I think he is the only melee hero that can at least be considered in the OP category. This allows Vez'nan to support more than 2 lanes at once. However, Vez'nan shines in VERSATILITY the most as he can 1) teleport, allowing him to suppor anywhere and 2) has a demon-summoning hero skill that can tank really well/has good damage/has ranged AOE damage. The instant-kill, AOE and stalling skills are all good. Vez'nan: Can be a bit lackluster in the amount of raw damage he can do, but very fun, powerful and versatile hero. I stress again, he is a very good hero nonetheless. The single target nuke will be hard to aim and the AOE skill have quite a long cooldown making him unreliable in both single target and crowd control. However, a lot of enemies have very high magic resistance so damage won't be as powerful as expected. Very good magic damage and decent skills. Very good hero.įaustus: Not as OP as the 2 mentioned above, but very powerful nonetheless. ![]() Very close in terms of strength with Wilbur but Wilbur is a bit better at single target damage. Phoenix: Very OP in terms of simple crowd control. Wilbur is able to have great single-target DPS as well as good crowd control. ![]() Yes phoenix will destroy grunts faster but Origins has some high hp/armor enemies that phoenix will be unable to handle. This is because he has an absolutely crazy true-damage AOE base damage. Wilbur: A lot of people say Phoenix is the best but I personally think Wilbur is slightly better for harder levels. On the other hand, barracks are incredibly resilient and powerful in the game, allowing ranged heroes to benefit greatly. This coupled with the lack of damage because of high armor and regeneration during battle will make them less favorable. Most melee heroes will melt easily and will require a lot of micro management. Enemies in Origins have very good damage and armor. Important Disclaimer before starting: Melee heroes get more and more useless as you progress in the game. Tbh, all of the heroes in origins are pretty darn good, but I will try to explain which are the best. There will be several factors in deciding who is the "best" hero as there are many variables. Hmm I just spent 2 weeks playing origins and have used all the heroes (+all at max level) so I think I could give some good advice! BTW I completed the entire game 3-stars on veteran.
